Goldie Locks has found a new bed...

This morning, I found my daughter sleeping in the crib with her little brother again.
She had once crawled in the bassinet with her brother when he was about a month old.
Now, on those occasions when she wants to sleep with mommy and is told to go back to her own bed;
she instead sneaks into the crib with her brother.
I'm not quite sure how to react to the behavior yet.
My husband often works out of the country and is gone from 2 weeks to 6 weeks at a time. During the last several trips, his absence has been harder on our daughter. I know she is only seeking more attention and affection. Snuggling up is her favorite form of affection.
As for now, I'm not scolding her for sleeping in the crib with her brother. She's doing no harm or maybe it's because it's just so darn cute...

OMG, that is precious!!

Thanks for your comments regarding my face issues. I did the laser for hair removal, and I've been dying to try it for my skin, so I'm going to ask about it the next time I go in. I also want to try that Benefit stuff---I've heard such good things about their products!

That is so cute!!! I wouldn't even know how to begin modifying her behavior, and I don't even know if it's wrong to begin with. It's so sweet and touching that she wants to snuggle with her baby brother. She's bonding with him and having her there probably makes him feel really secure too.

I think my only concern would be that the baby gets used to her being in there and when she stops, he may have a hard time sleeping.

But really, that's just too precious for words!!!

Good point, Alicia. I planned on making sure my daughter didn't sleep in the crib often. She wanted to sleep with me again last night and I sent her to her bed. She stayed there through the night.

Sleeping alone is hard. When my hubby's away, it's difficult to not allow my daughter to sleep with me. I don't want to be alone either.
